That damn Vampire Diaries. I don't get it. I really don't. Its the TV version of Twilight (which is only interesting when its got the RiffTrax to it). Come on, people. Vampires can be cool...but only when they aren't emo little bitches.

It actually isn't the TV version of Twilight at all. The Vampire Diaries is based off a completely separate book series that was written WAY before Twilight was written, let alone made into a movie.

The vampires are different, the story line is completely different, the only thing they have even remotely in common is that a vampire falls in love with a human.

I don't know anything about Vampire Diaries the show but I read the book and I was a big Twihard for a whole so yeah....not even anywhere close to the same thing.
